A man sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision with a snow plow in Richmond Hill early Wednesday morning. According to York Regional Police, the two vehicles were involved in a collision at around 1 a.m in the area of Bayview Ave. and North Lake Rd, situated south of Bloomington Rd.
Constable Kevin Nebrija indicated in a statement that when the officers arrived, they found a small white hatchback had collided head-on with a snow plow. The driver of the hatchback was initially taken to a local hospital, but his condition worsened, necessitating a transfer to a trauma center, where he is now in serious condition.
